He will mostly help me live on stage and give me tips and tricks on production (since he knows what he’s doing and I generally just push some buttons at random), he will help me gather xbox gamerpoints and get me insanely drunk every now and then.
Yup, this is a cooperation I really look forward too.

Okay, so my girlfriend is on her way to Edinburgh as I’m writing this. Probably reading Terry Pratchett right now at Gatwick Airport. YEA! Gatwick!! I dropped her off at Copenhagen Airport this morning, at 05:30. YEA! 05:30!!
Why Gatwick? Why 05:30, I’ll tell you.

We had everything planned and organised (well, organised, the girl suffers from ADHD, so organised is probably an exaggeration, but you get my point) during the past 2-3 weeks, the ticket was booked, the bags packed, you know, like what you do when you’re about to spend 5-6 months in Edinburgh.
So, yesterday, she checked-in online through the British Airways website, as it was the last thing she had to do, we were about to get ready for a glass of wine and a nice dinner with her parents. Enter Snowstorm in England!

In short, she got a text-message saying the plane from Heathrow to Edinburgh was cancelled because of the massive snowfall in England... after 30 minutes on the phone she got herself a ticket for a plane to London Gatwick instead, not with British Airways though but Cimber Sterling. Yaaaay, everything saved...

Or?

So the Cimber plane would take off at 06:55, so we get up at 04:00 !!!
05:30 - CPH airport. It was awful, there were soooo many people, but hell, the Cimber desks were nearly empty. A.-C. (my girlfriend) got herself a print of the booking and had her pass ready, the luggage on the conveyer-belt, Let’s Rock...

Or No !
Apparently, the people from British Airways had forgotten to give the booking a F.I.M. number (something you need when one company transfers you to another company) so she points us to some other desk (the desk for people without F.I.M.’s).
The swedish guy behind the desk is fixing it, slowly, and I can’t catch a word of what he’s saying, because my Swedish, well... I don’t have any Swedish, but A.-C. seems to be relaxed, not too stressed, I trust everything will be fine.
She gets some new papers from the Swedish guy, and we hurry back to the Cimber desk, which had moved, luckily not too far from where we were.
Ticket ready, Pass ready, Luggage on the conveyer-belt, Let’s Rock...

Only 35 minutes to boarding, she had to get moving, no time for long goodbye’s (she’s gone for 6 months, I wanted a loooong goodbye, but hell, this is important, after all this trouble, it would be dead-stupid to miss the plane because of sloppy kisses and teary cheeks).

From now on all communication is based on text-messages and short phone-calls.

I stick around a bit at the airport, get myself a cup of Latte Vanilla, yummy, smoke a cigarette or 2, or 3, and make sure she gets on the plane alright.
After I get confirmation that she is on the plane, I get my ass on a train home, I’m dead-tired, but don’t want to sleep, I want to make sure she also lands at Gatwick

Landing time at Gatwick.
As I said, right now, A.-C. is at Gatwick, her plane to EDI leaves tonight at 18:10, and to make everything a bit more fun, and entertaining, they managed to loose her luggage.
They! I don’t know who, nobody really wants to take responsibility as she booked with British Airways and flew with Cimber Sterling, and she can only fill out the lost luggage papers when she gets to her final destination, which is EDI at 19:25 if everything goes well. For all we know, it’s all still somewhere at CPH, or Heathrow, or Gatwick, or Edinburgh.
Fun and entertaining. God!!

Thank you snow-king!!
To be continued.

I dropped the whole underlying structure. No more hassle with databases and the likes :-p
This will, at least for me, be so much more easy to update and post new stuff, as I can now do it straight from my computer, no FTP hassle, no login in online, just open the program and fix it, easy, love it!

It took a lot longer then expected because of different reason, the main one being work (as in my actual job), but it’s getting there and I’m looking forward to actually getting it done and be able to play the end result through huge speakers for you all to hear, I put some real nice bass in there :-p
I’m also rearranging my studio, I sold a lot of hardware and bought new stuff instead, hopefully this will allow me to work better and more efficient, only time will tell.
I had a gig as well in August @ Faust in Copenhagen, which was great, it had been a while and people seemed really into it. The gigs are getting more fun every time, so I really am looking forward to more.

One another note, I’m going to Maschinenfest this year (Dadadadadadadadada... sooo looking forward) and I updated my website. I’m so freakin productive. Being sick has it’s value...
